Meet Bryan Perusini, BHGRE Green Team’s Newest Agent at the Warwick Office

Bryan Perusini spent ten years inside the financial engine of property management. As a financial controller overseeing the back office for roughly 4,000 residential units, he managed a team, handled client communications at every level, and functioned as an in-house banker for the properties under his watch. He knows how residential real estate works from the inside out, not just on paper.

Now he is channeling that knowledge into something he has wanted to do for a long time: helping people buy and sell homes.

Bryan joins BHGRE Green Team at the Warwick office, bringing a combination of financial expertise, landlord experience, and a genuine desire to guide clients through one of the biggest decisions of their lives.

A Lifelong Connection to This Area

Bryan has lived in the Pomona, NY area his whole life. He knows Rockland County and the surrounding Hudson Valley region the way only a lifetime of living somewhere can teach you. When clients ask him about the area, he is not reciting talking points. He is sharing what he has seen and experienced personally over decades of living here.

That familiarity with the local landscape is something buyers and sellers value, and it is something Bryan offers from the start.

Ten Years of Property Management Finance

Before real estate sales, Bryan spent a decade as a financial controller in property management, overseeing the back office for approximately 4,000 residential units. He led a small team, managed day-to-day client communications with both residents and board members, and developed a deep working knowledge of how residential properties are financed, operated, and maintained.

“This job also essentially made me an in-house banker,” he says, “which expanded my financial and residential property knowledge considerably.”

Add to that five years of owning and renting out a multi-family home in Dumont, NJ, and a father with a background in real estate, and the picture becomes clear. Bryan is not coming into this field cold. He is arriving with a foundation that most agents spend years trying to build.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from Dominican College of Blauvelt and is currently working through Financial Planning coursework to continue expanding his financial literacy.

Why Real Estate, and Why Now

For a while, the idea of moving from property management into sales had been sitting in the back of Bryan’s mind.

“The idea of helping people buy or sell homes, especially first time home buyers, sounds special to me,” he says. “Being able to help people find their forever home was something I’ve had in my mind for quite some time.”

The decision to act on it came together naturally. Driving past the Green Team office one day, something clicked.

“I only interviewed with the Green Team,” he says. “Driving past the office just spoke to me, and I’m happy we were able to make this become reality.”

Outside of Work

On weekends you will find Bryan watching football, browsing car shows, or planning his next trip somewhere new. He also enjoys reading, going to the movies, and, by his own admission, petting every dog he sees.
