Kathy Moran brings a passion for Home, Warwick and Family to The Green Team. Moving to Warwick in 2004, as a single mom with two kids, then 13 and 10, and a yellow Lab, finding a true HOME and a place for her family was everything. Her Warwick story started with a dare from a friend to “build a house”, a “build to suit” sign, and the rest was history. Kathy brings her “clients first” passion to everything she does. Listening to you, hearing your plans, hopes and dreams. Working within your budget and guiding you thru the entire process is her greatest pleasure. Kathy comes to the real estate profession from a 20-plus year sales career in the commercial/residential interior design industry. Her extensive knowledge will help buyers see all possibilities, whether it be interior and exterior design and/or modifications. Before listing a home, she will assist sellers in preparing their house for the sale. As someone who has experienced it firsthand, Kathy is always excited to offer a new construction opportunity to her clients. Her experience working with both builders and contractors building her own dream home has given her invaluable insight in the entire process. She will walk the buyer through, from beginning to end. From the first meeting with the builder, through financing, selecting finishes and upgrades, making sure that requests are done in a timely fashion to coordinate with the numerous tradespeople. Her goal is to make sure the experience of building a home is positive and goes as smoothly as possible for all concerned. Kathy is passionate about Warwick and Orange County. Growing up in New City, N.Y., living in Nanuet for 12 years then moving to Warwick, has all been a wonderful adventure. One that her and her now adult children have never regretted! Her family attended and graduated from the award-winning, Warwick Valley Central School District. Her daughter, Kimberly has a career in sales and lives in Houston, TX. Her son, Chris is an FDNY firefighter, living in Pine Island. Kathy still has her home in Warwick. After renting it out to tenants for 6 years, she is beyond happy to be back home again. Kathy is a three-time, Guardian escort volunteer for the Hudson Valley Honor Flight. The Honor Flight is a national organization that funds, flies and escorts veterans on a full day adventure to Washington D.C. The veterans are honored and celebrated, as well as tour all of the monuments. She is active in getting the word out to recruit both veterans and guardians. Kathy is very much looking forward to the next “wheels up!” flights in 2021!
