A Tale of Two Cities
Warwick, New York and Vernon, New Jersey are not actually cities. There are the Village and Town of Warwick, and Vernon is a Township. They are separated by an invisible border and the signs that welcome you to New York and New Jersey. Though in different states, Orange and Sussex Counties are very much sister counties. Where it all started… WarwickFounded in 2005, the Green Team Home Selling System is a locally owned and operated full-service Real Estate brokerage. Set in the heart of the Historic Village of Warwick, NY, the Green Team is an integral part of the local community. Many of the Sales Associates, including its founder, Geoffrey Green, are long-time residents of Warwick and the surrounding areas. The knowledge base of the local market is unmatched.The Green Team Home Selling System has quickly moved up the real estate ranks in the Hudson Valley. Currently in the top 10 of all brokerages in Orange County, NY, the Green Team has proven it can grow in the worst of markets. When the company opened its doors for business, the U.S. housing market began the biggest downward spiral since the Great Depression. However, the Green Team Home Selling System not only kept its doors open while many other agencies closed, but has continued to grow substantially.
Expanding Into VernonIn fact, interest from several Sales Associates in opening a Sussex County, NJ office paralleled the Green Team’s expansion model of building partnerships with Sales Associates. Right across the border from Warwick, in an underserved market, Vernon seemed to be a good fit. Geoffrey Green, with equity partners Kim Lasalandra, Charles Nagy & Ted VanLaar, launched Green Team New Jersey Realty on September 8, 2016. In less than two years, Green Team New Jersey Realty became one of the top 20 real estate agencies in all of Sussex County and one of the top 5 in Vernon. It also went from 0 to 21 agents, with 6 of those receiving the prestigious New Jersey Association of Realtors’ 2017 Circle of Excellence Award in recognition of achievements and excellence in sales. In order to accommodate its growing roster of Sales Associates, Green Team New Jersey Realty has just closed on its new office building at 293 South Route 94 in Vernon.
