Meet Isaura (“Isy”) Lopez of Green Team New York Realty. Ask Isy what is important to her and she immediately replies, “Family!” She has one daughter and is the proud grandma of 4 and 6-year-old grandsons.
Of course, there are other things important to Isy as well. One of those is providing service to her clients, to her community, and to those in need.
Isy brings with her over 30 years of retail management experience. Her resume includes an extensive professional background in sales, management, and customer service. Isy has worked in Barney’s New York, Neiman Marcus, Target, and JCPenney. Furthermore, she was the Volunteer Captain at Target, helping to refurbish local playgrounds. In addition, in collaboration with other store employees, they collected gently warm coats and food for donation to those in need. She also ran the March of Dimes and raised funds for the Breast Cancer Walks through bake sales.
The Transition to Real Estate
Isy was always interested in real estate, but never dared to make the move. When she bought her own home 18 years ago, the process was very stressful. Recalling that, she wants to actually make the process fun. Isy has always been a service-oriented person. She looks forward to helping others find their first or their forever home. Making her customers/clients happy is what gives Isy a sense of achievement. Having been an Orange County Resident for 18 years, living in Maybrook, she is very familiar with the area and can help her clients find that special place to call home.
Isy checked out other agencies before signing on with Green Team. Some of those agencies actually made her feel uncomfortable. She didn’t get a warm welcoming feeling from them. Having been in the corporate world for too long, she wanted to work in a family environment. That was the feeling she got from the Green Team. And, when asked why she ultimately did decide to join the Green Team, her answer is a succinct “good vibes!”
